THE OBJECTIVE OF SUPPORT YOUR TREE , IS TO SUPPORT TREE MAINTENANCE AND GREENERY
The project is addressed to all those who are not indifferent to the public greenery in our city, who want to support its maintenance and thus contribute to the improvement of the living space in Brno. This support service is provided by the e-shop of the city services brnoid.cz.
The amounts that can be used to support a selected tree start at one hundred crowns. In addition, users can write their own voucher with a greeting or wish for one of the 130 selected trees directly in the Brno iD web application.
"Directly on the website of Brno iD in the section 'Support your tree' or by clicking on the website priprav.brno.cz you can access the map where you can select the tree you like or need near your home. The selection includes young trees planted this year as well as memorable trees. Each tree included in the project is accompanied by a photo and caption. In addition, interested parties can choose from 9 voucher motives in which they can enter their own text with wishes, greetings or dedications and then print the generated voucher. I think this can be a nice gift for the upcoming Christmas, for example, with which you not only make the recipient happy, but also support the quality and development of trees in our city with your money. With a minimal donation, users become so-called tree care donors. Starting from an amount of 500 crowns, they will then become the so-called adoptive parent of the selected tree, and if they agree, their name will be listed on the map for a year," said Petr Hladík, 1st Deputy Mayor of Brno in 2021.
